Kevin Yin is an American multimedia artist and screenwriter currently based in Los Angeles. They recieved their B.A. in Media Arts + Practice at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts.
Their work spans across multiple mediums, from printmaking to screenwriting to experimental animation, and focuses on questions of human agency inside a landscape of digital noise. Easily excitable yet markedly thoughtful, the artist finds themself constantly torn between the inevitable allure of grand worldbuilding versus the grounded comfort of a private, quiet intimacy.

Kevin’s work has been exhibited at The Getty Museum, The Torrance Art Museum, and most recently, the Palaver Arts magazine. They were the winner of the 2022 Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Reality Hack Silver Grand Prize, and have been recognized as a Cohen, Jon M. Chu, and Ahmanson Lab Innovation Scholar.
